Until 2009 Guido was Senior Lecturer in EU Law at Liverpool university. From 2010 onwards he is Teaching Fellow in International and Comparative Employment Law at Royal Holloway University of London. In 2005 he completed his doctorate in EU and Comparative Employment Law which he wrote and researched at the European University Institute (EUI) of Florence (Italy) and the University of Oxford. He worked as Lecturer and Research Assistant at the University of Florence and the EUI respectively. He was Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the EUI (2006/07). He also worked as solicitor in a private law firm in Florence and previously as HR Legal Counsel at the European Central Bank in Frankfurt am Main. He is a graduate of Florence University Law School (2001).
